I'm pro union all the way even if it cost me 8 yrs.
I know a lot of you probably stopped reading the blog because of comments from people like outsider, troll, baptist nure timberwolf. I appologize for that. They should never have been allowed to comment. This blog is ours. for us to share information etc. From now on their comments will be deleted asap. This is for us. We have a lot of information for our people and we need this. Im sue corp and admin new that, that is why they made these phoney people up. We already know how they feel and what they are about. This is not for them. This is for us. They can create their own blog, or if someone who is not employeed here and is so concerned for us has questions they can ask the office. We dont need their opinions. Thank you all for your support. We will see this through. Because this is for our residents, and this is for you. God Bless
So now Administration is bringing in sweets for all shifts. So nice. When have they ever done that before, They wouldnt even come in and help before. When ever they did have a actvity for the residents that included the staff. It was day shift only. If the 3-11 shift got anything, it was left overs that everyone had already picked through. Isnt that like tipping a waitress a penny. 11-7 shift didnt even get that. Maybe now they will provide us a decient break room with heat and airconditioning. Not the janitor closet thats a sauna in the summer and freezer in the winter. Some places provide their staff a TV fruit in the summer and soup in the winter, tea, and coffee all hours. The staff here have to stand (and I say stand) in the pantry, to fighting off the ants. So they can still answer call lights. Yes this is a good tactic. They will try and sway some of you to their side. They call them the weak ones. They may even promise you more money, or a better position. Just refer to your hand book. THE EMPLOYMENT OF ANY EMPLYEE IS "AT WILL" AND CAN BE TERMINATED BY EITHER THE COMPANY AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. IT ALSO SAYS (AT THE VERY BOTTOM) COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS MAY SUPERSEDE IT. THATS THE UNION. KEEP STANDING STRONG!!
You folks back there in TN have a huge fight worth fighting for and in the end when you win. it will all be worth it. You'll have the help you need you'll get the breaks you deserve you won't have to put up with any management abuse in fear of losing you job. I've been in a union for 16 years now and would never go back to the way thing were. Life is good
hey dont show your stupidity and why would you delete someones message unless you are afraid of it? i have put lots of years into this place and i hate it that a few angry at the world people are trying to change it with lies. i worked for a union for years and they lie lie lie. they take your money and they cant stop the company from doing anything . rules are rules and they follow. one nursing home in nachville shut down becasue of union . I need my job and dont want to drive long distances to get here. and the party was planned before this thing it has been posted for a long time stupid dont you read the boards.hey and learn to spell you make the rest of us look stupid too.if you want to change something have the balls to do it and not while hiding behind some union who doesnt give a care about anyone in tn. listen to all the "you done there" what they think we are in the bottom of the bucket. go ahead chicken delete. this.
