outsider.. bring your momma and your daddy here, then we will see what side your on when it's your family being cared for, and then you may be glad there are good nurses and CNA's that care enough to risk their jobs and everything just to improve patient care.But then again maybe you wouldn't care.
ReplyDeleteoutsider, you have no clue as to how many good nurses and cna's have already left, those that stayed to battle alone now have risked their jobs and some have lost them for trumped up reasons. all to improve the care given to some patients.why? because what happens here affects us all!, it will be you getting the care someday or your loved one, can you do math? how much time does 1 cna and 1 nurse have per patient in a shift if they have upwards of 60 patients? and how would you feel if everytime money needs cut it is your pay and not administrations. i would like to know what kind of job you have, that you find this fight so amusing? and to you who have stayed to fight, bravo! you are a rare breed, and to those who lost their jobs, i'm very proud of you!You did what was right all along! ReplyDeleteOk 4 starters i support u all the job cnas & nurses do in a LTC facility is ALOT different from a hospital where u r charting 80% of the time
ReplyDeleteI worked with all of u n i couldnt handle the stress of having a managment who could care less n the kitchen constantly serving soup & sandwiches 4 a week straight 4 dinner but the blame landed on the nursing dept 4 weight loss that we had no control over bc the alternative was a different kind of soup n then the housekeeping dept who i sware dont work at all we did an experiment n placed a saltine cracker wrapper on the floor in a room with a little jelly 2 hold it n it was there a week later n activities these residents would like more then bingo n lucio how about something simple like replanting a flower so it could brighten up their rooms
I left GLC n went 2 NCMC ive worked both areas n i gotta say LTC is alot more hands on with these residents you get 2 know their families n who they were b4 they came here i really didnt like the hospital setting so yes i am back at a LTC facility n i gotta say every place is gonna have problems but it seems like management there is a little out of control but that what you want bc she 2 will self distruct in her own time look at all the other administrators there have been

Thanks for kind words !!! I was terminated for attendance. U know who's fault that is!!!!!! Mine yes there is attendance issues way worse than mine but hey might as well catch the big fish!!! Like I am really somebody yeah right. As for the OUTSIDER yeah I'm chubby and short but and not intimidating unless I am nursing next to u. That's when I guess I intimidate others .

In going with your heart and setting out to get the best for yourself and your residents. No your not perfect, but none of us are. When one door closes another one opens. So with that being said lets stop bashing each other and be positive in what we are doing and be kind to one another. We are all there for the same reason, well at least most of us are.
